1. Who we are
ORO Events (“we”, “us”) is an event management company operating in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Contact for anything in this policy: info@oroevents.ae.
2. What we collect
- Brief and contact data — what you submit through our contact form or send us directly: name, company, email, phone, market, event details and your message.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, pages requested) and privacy-respecting analytics measuring page performance and aggregate usage.
- Anti-abuse signals — our form uses a honeypot and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals to distinguish humans from bots.
3. Why we process it
To respond to your brief and conduct business you request; to operate, secure and improve the website; and to meet legal or contractual obligations. We do not sell personal data, run advertising networks on this site, or add you to marketing lists you didn’t ask for.
4. Legal frameworks
We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) as applicable to our operations, alongside contractual confidentiality commitments (including NDAs) that frequently exceed statutory requirements.
5. Sharing
Data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate this site and our communications — web hosting, Cloudflare (security/CDN/Turnstile), email infrastructure and analytics — under their respective safeguards, or where law requires disclosure.
6. Retention
Brief correspondence is retained for as long as needed to serve the relationship and meet legal/accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs and anti-abuse data are retained for short, security-appropriate periods.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to processing, by emailing info@oroevents.ae. We’ll respond within a reasonable period consistent with applicable law.
8. Cookies
This site avoids advertising cookies. Analytics and security services (including Turnstile) may set strictly functional identifiers. Your browser controls apply.
9. Changes
We’ll update this page when practices change; the effective date above moves with it.
