Read-in Working Abu Dhabi

The capital keeps score differently.

Abu Dhabi events carry a different gravity: ministries in the audience, cultural institutions as venues, and a protocol standard where the flag order matters more than the lighting design. What plays as spectacle in Dubai must land as statecraft here.

We deliver the capital’s formats — government ceremonies, ADNEC exhibitions, summits, investment forums, national-day programs and Yas-scale entertainment — with DCT permits handled natively, bilingual ceremony teams, and the full Dubai production arsenal deployed 90 minutes west.

Venue fluency Rooms we know by heart

From the palace to the paddock

The capital’s venues each carry their own regime — cultural-district sensitivities, ADNEC’s operations manual, island logistics. Rooms and grounds we work:

Safety is not a subcontract here

Every ORO project ships with its own HSE file — risk assessments, method statements and, where scale demands it, an embedded safety officer — prepared by our in-house HSE & sustainability division, not a third party found the week before doors.

Q&A Abu Dhabi, answered straight

Asked before every Abu Dhabi brief

How do Abu Dhabi event permits differ from Dubai's?+
Abu Dhabi licenses events through the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) with its own portal, documentation logic and timelines — plus municipality and civil-defense layers. It’s not harder than Dubai; it’s different, and treating it as ‘Dubai with other letterhead’ is how agencies get surprised. We file in both weekly.
Can a Dubai-based team really serve Abu Dhabi properly?+
Ninety minutes of highway makes same-day operations routine — and our capital work runs with Abu Dhabi-specific permit fluency, protocol teams and venue relationships rather than commuting assumptions. For multi-day programs we base crews on site.
What makes government events in the capital different?+
Precedence density: more ministries, diplomatic corps and cultural institutions per event than anywhere in the region. Our protocol matrices, Arabic-first scripting and screened-crew practices were built for exactly this room. Capability statement on request.
Is ADNEC different to build in than DWTC?+
Each venue has its own operations manual — rigging rules, service passages, approval sequences. We build in both regularly, so your stand design is engineered to ADNEC’s rulebook from the first drawing, not adapted at the loading dock.
How does F1 week affect event planning?+
December’s Grand Prix week compresses hotels, talent and logistics city-wide — brilliant for hospitality programs, brutal for competing events. We either build your event onto that energy or calendar it clear; both are strategies, neither is an accident.
Do you handle cultural-district venues?+
Yes — Saadiyat’s institutions carry understandable sensitivities around fixings, catering and imagery. We produce within their conservation and brand rules, which is precisely why they let production companies back.
