Read-in The brief, decoded

The show is only as good as the truck that arrived on time.

Every event is a supply chain wearing a tuxedo. The LED wall on a Jebel Ali shelf is worthless until it’s through the venue dock at 22:00 Tuesday — and a Riyadh show adds a border, a customs officer and a public holiday you forgot to check. Logistics is where regional events are actually won.

We run event logistics across the UAE and Saudi Arabia as one network: production freight and customs, cross-border trucking with realistic clearance windows, warehousing and asset management between shows, guest fleets and crew transport, and reverse logistics that leaves venues the way lawyers like them.

Scope What we deliver

Everything on one scope sheet

01

Production freight & customs

Commercial invoices, HS codes and clearance managed — including carnet guidance for touring equipment.

02

UAE↔KSA cross-border trucking

Scheduled runs with customs windows, border-day buffers and drivers who’ve done this route before.

03

Warehousing & asset management

Racked, labeled, scanned storage between events — your set pieces age gracefully, findably.

04

Delivery scheduling & dock management

Timed slots negotiated with venues; trucks arrive in sequence, not in a queue.

05

Guest transport & fleets

Sedans to coaches with manifests, meet-boards and slack built where flights wobble.

06

Airport operations

Meet-and-greet coordination, luggage logistics and arrivals that feel like the event already started.

07

Crew transport & call sheets

Crews moved to call times — because a late rigger costs more than his van.

08

Night moves & city permits

Load restrictions, lane closures and municipality movement permits handled for after-hours builds.

09

Reverse logistics & making-good

De-rig, pack-out, disposal and venue handover — deposits returned, relationships intact.

10

Live tracking & control

One movement schedule, live status and a coordinator who answers at 03:00.

Safety is not a subcontract here

Every ORO project ships with its own HSE file — risk assessments, method statements and, where scale demands it, an embedded safety officer — prepared by our in-house HSE & sustainability division, not a third party found the week before doors.

Q&A Straight answers

Asked before every run

How long does Dubai-to-Riyadh event freight take?+
Plan 72 hours door to door for trucked freight including customs clearance, and protect a two-day buffer for border peaks, holidays and inspection luck. Time-critical items can fly; scenery shouldn’t have to.
What paperwork does cross-border show equipment need?+
Commercial invoices with accurate HS codes and values, packing lists that match reality, and — for equipment returning home — temporary admission handled properly so you don’t pay duty on your own LED wall twice. We prepare the pack; you sign it once.
Can you store our stands and assets between events?+
Yes — racked, labeled and barcode-scanned warehousing with condition photos on intake. Your 36 sqm stand from March gets redeployed in November instead of rebuilt, which is where real budget is saved.
How do venue delivery slots actually work?+
Major venues run booked dock windows; miss yours and you wait behind everyone who didn’t. We book, sequence trucks to the build order, and hold a marshalling point so the dock sees one vehicle at a time — yours.
Can you move 300 guests between hotels and venues?+
Yes — manifested coach and sedan fleets, boarding marshals, staggered departures matched to the run sheet, and a control sheet that knows where vehicle 7 is. Group movement is an event within the event; we produce it as one.
What about night builds and road permits?+
City load restrictions and after-hours movements need municipality permits and sometimes police coordination — filed as part of the plan, not discovered at a checkpoint at 01:00.
How do you keep equipment from going missing?+
Barcode discipline: scanned out, scanned in, exceptions flagged the same night with a named human attached. Shrinkage thrives on ambiguity; we remove the ambiguity.
