Cue P2·01 Pillar 02 — Exhibitions & build

Exhibition stand builders & contractors in Dubai & Saudi Arabia

Three days of hall traffic decide a year of pipeline. We design and build the stand people cross the aisle for — then re-engineer it to fight again at the next show.

Read-in The brief, decoded

The busiest stand wins.

An exhibition stand is a media buy you have to construct. The math is brutal and honest: space cost plus build cost divided by qualified conversations. Beautiful-but-empty loses to busy every single time — which is why we design for traffic first: open sightlines, a demo magnet at the aisle, hospitality that keeps prospects seated, and storage that stops the stand drowning in boxes by day two.

We design and build across the region’s halls — Dubai World Trade Centre, ADNEC, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Riyadh Front and the KSA circuit — as builders, as contractors executing your agency’s drawings, or as the design-and-build partner who owns the whole problem. Same joinery standards, same first-pass approvals, whichever way you brief us.

Scope What we deliver

Everything on one scope sheet

01

Concept & 3D visualization

Photoreal renders and walkthroughs before you commit — what you approve is what gets built.

02

Space strategy & visitor flow

Aisle-side magnets, sightline engineering and a floorplan that turns footfall into dwell time.

03

Custom build & joinery

In-house-standard carpentry, metalwork and finishing — tolerances your brand manager can measure.

04

AV & interactive technology

LED walls, demo screens, touch content and lead-capture tech, specified and operated.

05

Graphics & large-format print

Backlit fabric, vinyl, dimensional lettering — color-managed to brand guidelines.

06

Hospitality & meeting suites

Closed rooms, open lounges and barista corners placed where deals actually happen.

07

Show services liaison

Power, rigging, hanging banners and venue approvals — DWTC, ADNEC, DEC, Riyadh Front paperwork handled.

08

Storage, logistics & onsite crew

Freight, empties management and a build crew that hits the hall’s night-shift windows.

09

On-stand staffing

Trained hosts and demo staff who work the aisle, not their phones.

10

Dismantle, storage & reuse program

Modular re-engineering that carries 30–60% of your build into the next show.

Safety is not a subcontract here

Every ORO project ships with its own HSE file — risk assessments, method statements and, where scale demands it, an embedded safety officer — prepared by our in-house HSE & sustainability division, not a third party found the week before doors.

Q&A Straight answers

Asked before every build

How much does an exhibition stand cost in Dubai?+
Custom builds typically run AED 1,800–4,200 per sqm depending on complexity, height and reuse strategy — so a 36 sqm custom lands around AED 65–150k, and shell-scheme upgrades start near AED 15k. Space rental from the organizer is separate. We quote line-by-line against your floorplan position, and we’ll tell you where money is being wasted.
What is a shell scheme stand — and when should we upgrade?+
A shell scheme is the organizer’s rented package: white system walls, fascia name board, carpet and a spotlight. It’s cheap and invisible. The upgrade math flips around 18–36 sqm or when lead value is high — a custom build at that size usually beats shell scheme on cost per qualified conversation, not just on photography.
How early should we book before a show?+
Eight to ten weeks for a standard custom build; twelve to sixteen for GITEX, Gulfood, Arab Health or LEAP, where hall night-shifts, rigging slots and good fabricators sell out. Later is possible — it just converts calendar into rush fees.
Can you build from our agency's designs?+
Yes — contractor-only briefs are welcome. Send the drawings; you’ll get a build quote, engineering feedback where something won’t survive the hall, and the same first-pass approval record we give our own designs.
Who handles venue approvals and safety files?+
We do — stand drawings, structural calculations for double-decks and rigging, method statements and risk assessments, submitted to DWTC, ADNEC, DEC or Riyadh Front. Our HSE division is in-house, which is why our stands clear inspection while neighbors are still arguing.
Can one stand work across multiple shows?+
That’s the reuse program: modular engineering, asset storage between shows and refresh graphics per event. Clients typically carry 30–60% of the original build across two to three shows, which changes the per-show economics completely.
Do you build in Saudi Arabia too?+
Yes — in-Kingdom fabrication for LEAP, Riyadh and Jeddah shows with local crews and GEA-aligned documentation. One contract can cover your UAE and KSA calendar, with the reuse program running across both.
