Event safety inspections & audits in Dubai & Saudi Arabia

Independent eyes before the official ones: pre-opening inspections, structure and rigging verification, vendor audits and live monitoring — findings graded, owned, fixed and re-checked.

Read-in The brief, decoded

Find it before the inspector does.

The most expensive moment to discover a blocked fire exit is when civil defense discovers it first — with your doors opening in four hours and a stop notice in their hand. Every site has findings; the only variable is who finds them, and when.

Our inspection practice puts qualified, independent eyes on your event before authority ones arrive: pre-opening readiness inspections against the safety file, rigging and temporary-structure verification against certifications, electrical and fire walkdowns, vendor spot checks and live-show monitoring — every finding photographed, graded A/B/C, assigned an owner and re-inspected until closed.

Scope What we deliver

Everything on one scope sheet

01

Pre-opening readiness inspection

The full site walked against the safety file and drawings — T–24h, with a T–2h verification sweep.

02

Structure documentation verification

Temporary demountable structures checked against engineer certifications — paper and steel must agree.

03

Rigging & stage compliance checks

Points, motors, spansets and secondary safeties visually verified against the rigging plot and certs.

04

Electrical & cable-management inspection

Distro, RCD protection, cable routes and public-area management — the tape-and-hope audit.

05

Fire safety walkdown

Exit capacities and clearways, extinguisher placement and currency, signage and ignition controls.

06

Vendor & F&B compliance checks

Traders and subcontractors spot-checked against permits and food-safety basics before the public arrives.

07

Live-show monitoring

Crowd densities, fire watch and dynamic risks observed and logged through the show itself.

08

Graded findings report

A/B/C severity with photo evidence, owners and deadlines — readable by a CEO, actionable by a crew chief.

09

Corrective action tracking

Items chased to closure; A-grades re-inspected in person, not closed by email.

10

Periodic audit programs

Standing inspection regimes for venues, agencies and repeat event series — trend-lined, not one-off.

Run sheet How it runs

Walkdown to closure

T–24h

Inspect

Full readiness inspection against file and drawings; findings graded on the spot.

T–18h

Report

Findings issued with photos, owners and deadlines — A-items flagged by phone, not just PDF.

T–6h

Fix

Corrections made while they’re still cheap; we’re available throughout.

T–2h

Verify

Re-inspection sweep; A and B items confirmed dead before doors.

Show

Monitor

Live observation where the risk profile warrants — then a close-out that makes next time better.

Safety is not a subcontract here

Every ORO project ships with its own HSE file — risk assessments, method statements and, where scale demands it, an embedded safety officer — prepared by our in-house HSE & sustainability division, not a third party found the week before doors.

Q&A Straight answers

Asked before every walkdown

What does a pre-opening inspection cover?+
Everything the safety file promises: structures against certifications, rigging against the plot, exits and fire provisions, electrical protection, signage, housekeeping and vendor basics — walked physically, photographed, and graded. If the file says it, we check it exists in the room.
When should the inspection happen?+
T–24 hours for the main readiness inspection — late enough that the site is real, early enough that fixes are cheap — with a T–2h verification sweep before doors. Booking us for build-phase milestones on complex sites catches issues even earlier.
What happens when you find something serious?+
A-grade findings are phoned in immediately, not buried in a PDF: the item, the risk, the fix and the deadline. We stay available while it’s corrected and re-inspect in person. What we never do is soften a grade to keep a schedule comfortable — that’s the whole value of independence.
Can you inspect events ORO is producing — is that independent?+
Structurally yes: the inspection team is separated from the delivery team, findings go to the client directly, and grades aren’t negotiable internally. And if you want absolute separation, hire us to inspect other producers’ builds — agencies and venues do exactly that weekly.
What does an inspection cost?+
A single-event readiness inspection with report and re-verification typically runs AED 3,500–8,000 by site scale; live-show monitoring prices per shift; standing audit programs are scoped on frequency. Compare it to the cost of a stop notice at T–4 hours and the question answers itself.
What do the reports look like?+
Photo-evidenced findings, A/B/C severity, a named owner and deadline per item, and a closure log — formatted so procurement, insurers and authorities can all use the same document. No fog, no filler.
Do you inspect in Saudi Arabia?+
Yes — Riyadh and Jeddah, with bilingual reporting and criteria aligned to GEA and the giga-project HSE culture that now sets the Kingdom’s expectations.
